About the Role
We are seeking a TA Engineer/DBA to support the design, administration, and continuous operation of enterprise applications and database environments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining system reliability, availability, and performance across multiple platforms, contributing directly to business continuity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support multiple application platforms, ensuring stable operations, patching, and issue resolution
- Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical input on integration points such as web services, messaging queues, SFTP, and databases
- Implement and maintain operational processes including OS patching, application patching, backup, recovery, and housekeeping activities
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and fault-tolerant configurations
- Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and service disruption
- Administer and maintain Oracle and/or MS SQL databases, ensuring performance optimization and data integrity
- Support security compliance by implementing system hardening and vulnerability remediation practices
- Provide operational support when required, including responding to incidents outside business hours
Required Qualification
- Minimum 2years of experience in Oracle 19c database administration
- Strong foundational knowledge in networking and server administration (Windows and Unix/Linux)
- Understanding of enterprise 3-tier application architecture
- Experience supporting high availability and fault-tolerant systems
- Hands-on experience in database administration (Oracle and/or MS SQL)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across application and infrastructure layers
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
. Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
. Knowledge of web application architecture from front-end to backend systems
. Exposure to virtualization, containerization, and cloud infrastructureconcepts
. Experience with IT security practices including system hardening andvulnerability assessments
