Work you'll do

As a Manager in our Outsourced Accounting team, you will oversee a portfolio of clients, serve as their main point of contact, and ensure timely, high-quality accounting services. You will lead and mentor a team of professionals, drive process improvements, and work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

• Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of outsourced accounting clients, ensuring quality service delivery and compliance with deadlines.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, building strong relationships and proactively addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
• Review and ensure the quality and compliance of work performed by junior team members.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and design customised accounting solutions.
• Monitor client budgets, manage resources efficiently, and ensure adherence to financial targets.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices for enhanced service delivery.
• Keep up to date with industry developments, accounting standards, and regulatory changes, and communicate implications to clients.
• Prepare, review, and present financial reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Oversee timely invoicing and collections for your client portfolio.
• Lead or participate in system upgrades, business development, and change initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• At least a bachelor's degree in Accountancy (CA Singapore or equivalent professional qualification preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a professional services or outsourced environment.
• Solid technical expertise in accounting, including group consolidation and strong knowledge of Singapore/International Financial Reporting Standards (US GAAP is a plus).
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, MS Navision, Xero, or similar, and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong client service orientation with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
