Work you'll do

Deloitte has one of the largest Indirect Tax and Global Trade Advisory practice in Singapore and is regarded within the firm as one of the leading and most successful service lines, with a reputation for being proactive, entrepreneurial, successful, and fun to work with.

This is a position with Deloitte's rapidly expanding Global Trade practice, providing tailored advice and solutions to a broad range of clients, both domestic and multinationals looking to gain access into various markets from a regulatory, trade and customs perspective.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with clients to assess and deploy technology solutions to enable international trade management operations.
• Helping importers and exporters achieve worldwide compliance and realize efficiencies in their global supply chain.
• Advising U.S. and foreign multinational companies on global import and export strategies and compliance.
• Planning and compliance assistance, and exploration of automated import and export solutions.
• Supply chain efficiency planning including trade and security, customs valuation planning, first sale for export planning, and the analysis of transfer pricing policies to work toward compliance with customs valuation requirements.
• Process improvement planning and systems implementation assistance.
• Work along with a team of dedicated SAP GTS implementation specialists, focusing on end-to-end project implementations.
• You will participate in the implementation of SAP GTS solutions at the client. More specifically you will be responsible for delivering compliance and customs solutions. Tasks include project management, change management, solution design, solution implementation and end-user support & training.
• You will contribute to the development and growth of the SAP GTS practice globally

Requirement

• You should have a degree with a major in legal, business or technology related fields.
• Strong interest in varied work and able to meet tight deadlines, presenting complex issues clearly and concisely.
• Excellent research and project management skills, together with interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fresh graduates who want to pursue a career in international trade are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work with ambiguity.
• Nice to have good understanding of the supply chain management processes.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of ERP solutions i.e., SAP.
