  • Execute and support testing and commissioning activities for signaling, control, and communication systems on trackside installations.
  • Prepare and implement test procedures, commissioning schedules, and test documentation in accordance with the organization's standards and project requirements.
  • Perform on-site testing, troubleshooting, and verification of interfaces between trackside equipment (e.g., interlockings, signals, axle counters, point machines, balises).
  • Collaborate with design, installation, and project teams to ensure the successful integration of trackside and onboard systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations, including strict adherence to track access and safety procedures.
  • Record, analyze, and report test results; provide corrective actions for non-conformances.
  • Support the preparation of handover and commissioning documentation to the client and relevant authorities.
  • Participate in site acceptance tests (SAT) and assist in system handover and performance validation.
  • Provide technical support during defect liability and warranty periods.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Railway Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
  • 26 years of experience in test and commissioning of railway systems, preferably with exposure to trackside signaling equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with CBTC, interlocking, or ATP/ATO/ATS systems will be a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of railway standards and safety practices (e.g., CENELEC, IEC, EN 50126/8/9).
  • Familiar with test tools, measurement instruments, and diagnostic software used in rail systems testing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Able to work in a site-based environment, including during night shifts or track possessions as required.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Candidates with prior experience in LTA rail projects (e.g., JRL, DTSS, TEL, CCL, or CRL) will have an advantage.
  • Flexibility to perform night works including weekend and public holidays when required by the project.
