Job Description

We are looking for a Systems Support Engineer to support and troubleshoot enterprise infrastructure environments across Windows Server, VMware ESXi 7.x/8.x, operating systems, storage, and core network services. You will provide remote technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders, manage multiple concurrent issues, document actions taken, and drive problems through to resolution in a fast-paced 24x7 global operations environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, ensuring stability and availability.
  • Administer and provide production support for VMware ESXi 7.x and 8.x platforms, including incident diagnosis and resolution.
  • Provide remote troubleshooting support via telephone and email to field service personnel, distributors, integrators, and customers.
  • Triage incidents, manage multiple open issues with changing priorities, and remain effective in high-pressure situations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems and escalate appropriately when required.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed in designated systems (e.g., ticketing/knowledge platforms).
  • Set clear expectations with customers, communicate progress, and follow up on action items to ensure closure and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow and enforce company standards, procedures, and compliance requirements at all times.
  • Participate in early morning duty / shift coverage as part of a 24x7 (7 days x 24 hours) global operations model.

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure support, systems administration, or technical support engineering.
  • Hands-on experience supporting one or more of the following:
  1. Virtualization: VMware (ESXi / vSphere environments)
  2. Operating Systems: Windows and/or Linux
  3. Compute/Storage: SAN, NAS
  4. Infrastructure services/tools: SFTP, enterprise job management tools, monitoring tools
  5. Solid understanding of network fundamentals and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP (and related troubleshooting)

  • Willingness to support early morning duties and participate in a 24x7 global operations schedule.
  • Strict adherence to internal standards, processes, and documentation practices.
