The Systems Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and enterprise systems. This role ensures system reliability, security, and performance while leading IT initiatives and supporting business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain retail IT systems, including POS, inventory, ERP, and e-commerce platforms
- Ensure high availability and performance of systems across all store locations
- Manage store technology infrastructure (networks, servers, payment systems)
- Support new store openings, system rollouts, and upgrades
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues affecting store operations or sales
- Ensure secure and reliable payment processing systems (compliance with PCI-DSS standards)
- Coordinate with vendors for POS systems, retail software, and hardware maintenance
- Lead system integration between online and offline retail platforms (omnichannel support)
- Implement data backup, recovery, and business continuity plans
- Train store staff on system usage and provide technical support
- Analyze system data to improve operational efficiency and customer experience
