1. Technical & System Design
- Front the technical design, architecture planning, and integration strategy for ACS implementations.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Ensure solutions deployed comply with security, compliance, and enterprise IT standards.
2. Advanced Troubleshooting & Escalation Support
- Act as the L3 escalation point for all complex ACS-related issues across multiple client environments.
- Lead root-cause analysis (RCA), incident resolution, and long-term corrective action planning.
- Diagnose advanced issues involving controllers, credentialing workflows, hardware faults, network routing, and subsystem integrations.
- Engage vendor support teams for deep-dive troubleshooting, bug escalations, and patch management.
3. Multi-Platform ACS Expertise
- Hands-on expertise in multiple Access Control Systems such as:
- Gallagher
- LenelS2 OnGuard
- HID / Mercury-based systems
- Genetec
- Bosch
- Suprema / ZKTeco / Axis
- Ability to configure, integrate, and optimize controllers, readers, credential formats, PIN/biometric workflows, and enterprise permissions across platforms is essential.
4. Deployment & Commissioning
- Lead the deployment, configuration, and commissioning of ACS solutions.
- Oversee FAT/SAT, subsystem integration testing, and system handover documentation.
- Validate IT and security architecture during onsite and remote deployment activities.
5. Maintenance, Optimization & Lifecycle Management
- Develop preventive maintenance plans, system health checks, and upgrade strategies.
- Ensure proper documentation: design diagrams, wiring schematics, test reports, and change logs.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance, reliability, and cybersecurity posture.
6. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work directly with enterprise customers to understand operational needs and propose enhancements.
- Support technical workshops, user acceptance tests (UAT), and operator training sessions.
- Communicate clearly during escalations, providing structured updates and solution paths.
