Overview
To design and govern end-to-end architecture for smart utility and infrastructure systems. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and standards-aligned solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define architecture across hardware, software, network, and integrations
- Translate business needs into scalable, resilient system designs
- Produce architecture diagrams, specs, and standards
- Lead design reviews and ensure enterprise alignment
- Evaluate and select platforms/technologies (OS, cloud, DB, middleware)
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory requirements
- Guide project teams, vendors, and stakeholders
- Support integration, testing, commissioning, and handover
- Identify risks and drive mitigation
- Oversee lifecycle activities (upgrades, patching, performance)
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- 12+ years in system/enterprise architecture
- Experience with distributed, cloud, or hybrid systems
- Knowledge of architecture standards (ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288, 42010) and modeling (UML, 4+1, DDD)
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure/GCP
- Strong in microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and DevOps
- Experience with databases (e.g., MSSQL) and data architecture
- Understanding of cybersecurity and secure-by-design
- Knowledge of IT/storage infrastructure is a plus
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
