Job Description

Brief Summary

We are seeking a dedicated System Support Engineer and Trainer to deliver exceptional technical support and training for navigation and communication systems. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with the ability to educate operators and maintainers.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support both remotely and onsite for navigation and communication systems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to various products and third-party OEM equipment. Assist with installation, configuration, calibration, and software updates for product portfolios and third-party OEMs. Collaborate with factory engineers and OEM partners to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Maintain accurate documentation, including service requests, fault reports, and repair logs. Develop and deliver comprehensive training curriculum based on the profiles of partners and customers. Set up and ensure the readiness of training equipment and simulators, ensuring they are updated and operational for effective training delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marine Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support or field service within the maritime sector. Proven experience with marine navigation and communication systems from leading OEMs or service providers. Strong knowledge of ship bridge equipment and communication protocols. Familiarity with software tools, diagnostic utilities, and Windows embedded systems.
