Responsible for validating system stability, resilience, and performance through structured testing activities.
The role focuses on designing and executing performance testing using Microfocus LoadRunner to ensure applications meet performance, reliability, and operational requirements.
The position works closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to identify performance risks and optimize system behavior under various workload conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and create performance testing scripts using Microfocus LoadRunner by recording application workflows and user interactions.
Execute performance, load, and stress testing to ensure applications meet defined performance benchmarks and operational requirements.
Analyze system behavior under load conditions and identify performance bottlenecks, stability risks, or system weaknesses.
Fine-tune LoadRunner configurations and tool parameters to simulate realistic user scenarios and achieve accurate test results.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to define and design appropriate test scenarios and workloads.
Participate in different phases of the testing lifecycle, including test planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
Prepare detailed performance test reports with findings, risk observations, and recommendations for system improvements.
Support system readiness assessments prior to production deployment.
Ensure testing activities align with organizational quality, security, and operational standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience in performance testing using Microfocus LoadRunner or equivalent performance testing tools (mandatory).
Strong expertise in creating and maintaining performance test scripts.
Good understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and testing phases.
Experience tuning testing parameters to meet expected performance objectives.
Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify test scenarios and testing requirements.
Understanding of system architecture, application workflows, and performance metrics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
