System Safety Engineer / Senior Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform system safety analyses including hazard identification and risk assessment
• Develop and maintain safety documentation (Hazard Logs, Safety Reports)
• Support system design and engineering teams to embed safety into the lifecycle
• Conduct analysis such as Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Functional Analysis
• Communicate findings through clear reports and presentations
• (Senior level) Lead safety activities, mentor junior engineers, and interface with stakeholders

Requirements

Early-Career Engineers (1–3 years)

• Experience in engineering, system design, or safety-related roles
• Basic understanding of systems engineering or risk assessment methods
• Ability to work independently while contributing in team environments
• Exposure to analysis tools or safety processes is advantageous

Senior Engineers (5+ years)

• Proven experience in system safety, system engineering, or risk management
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and structured engineering processes
• Ability to lead safety programs, manage stakeholders, and drive outcomes
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers
• Strong decision-making skills based on analytical evaluation
