Join a dynamic team as a Systems Planning Manager, specializing in Managed WiFi Services, where you will play a pivotal role in strategic planning and lifecycle management of WiFi platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop managed WiFi services platforms and infrastructure. Evaluate technologies through Proof-of-Concept initiatives with key vendors and support Proof-of-Value efforts with clients. Collaborate with product management to define and coordinate scopes of work with various stakeholders, including architecture and technical pre-sales teams. Conduct technology knowledge transfer and manage communication related to product lifecycle events, such as End-of-Life notifications. Lead the development of new features, regression testing, and compliance checks against design specifications. Provide advanced technical support (Level 3 and Level 4) in collaboration with platform partners for software escalation issues. Manage capital and operational expenditures alongside asset management, ensuring timely project deliverables. Oversee technical planning, network and security engineering, and project management efforts. Develop technical procedures, configuration standards, playbooks, and knowledge-based documentation. Stay informed on emerging WiFi standards (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7) and industry trends to assess and integrate new technologies and automation capabilities.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in WiFi engineering, preferably in managed services or enterprise IT sectors. Strong understanding of wireless networking standards, RF theory, and LAN/WAN integration. Experience with enterprise or cloud-based WiFi platforms (e.g., Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus, Cisco). Knowledge of authentication systems and network security protocols.
