Key Responsibilities:
1. Network Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and maintain the full lifecycle of network devices, including Aruba switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Administer Fortinet security fabric components, including FortiGate Firewalls, FortiClient Zero Trust VPN, and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions to ensure secure perimeter and internal access.
- Liaise with telecommunication service providers to resolve circuit and connectivity issues.
2. Systems & Server Administration:
- Administer Windows Server and Linux environments, including patching, hardening, and performance tuning via ManageEngine Endpoint Central.
- Manage Core Infrastructure Services: Active Directory (AD DS), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies (GPO).
- Utilize ManageEngine ADManager Plus for governance-based user lifecycle management and reporting.
- Oversee virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and ensure resource optimization.
- Manage privileged credentials and access security using Password Manager Pro, ensuring adherence to the principle of least privilege.
3. Operational Excellence & Security:
- Proactively monitor infrastructure health, bandwidth utilization, and system logs to ensure 99.5% service availability.
- Act as the L2 Escalation Point for all infrastructure-related incidents (Network & Systems) perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Collaborate with the IT Security Officer (ITSO) on vulnerability remediation, security incident response, and audit compliance (ISO 27001).
- Implement, test, and document approved infrastructure changes in accordance with the ITIL Change Management process.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in the CMDB, including network diagrams, IP schemas, server inventories, and configuration standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
Required Certifications:
- Network: CCNA or equivalent.
- Systems: Microsoft Certified (Azure Administrator or Hybrid Server) OR VMware VCP.
Preferred Certifications:
- Fortinet NSE 4 or higher.
- Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ACSA).
- ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4).
Technical Proficiency:
Network: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, SD-WAN, and VPN technologies. Hands-on experience with Fortinet and Aruba is mandatory.
Systems: Deep knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, and Virtualization.
Tooling: Experience with IT Management tools (specifically ManageEngine suite) is highly advantageous.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, communication and reporting.
