Job Description

Perform routine maintenance activities, including system updates, patches, and backups.
Continuously monitor system performance and health to detect and resolve issues proactively.
Ensure all IT systems and infrastructure operate efficiently and securely.

Respond promptly to system-related issues and outages.
Provide technical assistance to end-users and IT team members.
Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.

Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard systems and data.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and maintenance activities.
Generate and analyze performance reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Work with IT teams to refine and implement operational best practices.

Collaborate with IT team members to support ongoing IT projects and initiatives.
Communicate system status, maintenance updates, and issues to stakeholders effectively.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior team members as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Minimum 6 years of experience in IT systems maintenance or a similar role.
Proven track record in supporting and maintaining complex IT infrastructures.
Proficiency with Windows Server and/or Linux platforms (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, KVM, or HCI).
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols.
Familiarity with storage technologies (SAN, NAS) and data management concepts.
Scripting ability using PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.
Strong leadership skills.
Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
