Overview

We are looking for a System Engineer specializing in Embedded Systems, PLC integration, and LiDAR/Camera technologies to support the design, development, integration, and deployment of intelligent automation and vision-based systems. The candidate will be involved in system architecture, hardware and software integration, testing, troubleshooting, and on-site commissioning.

This role is suitable for candidates with experience in automation systems, robotics, automotive systems, industrial control, machine vision, or autonomous technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate embedded systems and automation solutions.

• Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC systems for industrial automation applications.

• Integrate LiDAR sensors, industrial cameras, and other vision systems into automation or vehicle platforms.

• Develop and optimize sensor fusion and data acquisition systems.

• Perform system testing, validation, debugging, and performance tuning.

• Support system architecture planning, electrical interfacing, and communication protocols.

• Conduct software and hardware integration for embedded controllers and industrial devices.

• Prepare technical documentation, test reports, user manuals, and engineering drawings.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, electrical, and project engineers.

• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.

• Troubleshoot field issues and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure systems comply with customer specifications, safety standards, and project requirements.

• Participate in FAT, SAT, and on-site commissioning activities.

• Support continuous improvement and system enhancement initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in embedded systems, PLC automation, or sensor integration.

• Experience with PLC programming such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, DCS.

• Knowledge of embedded platforms, industrial controllers, or microcontroller systems.

• Familiar with LiDAR systems, industrial cameras, machine vision, or sensor technologies.

• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN Bus, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, or Profinet.

• Experience in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Familiar with C/C++, Python, or embedded software development is an advantage.

• Knowledge of ROS, AI vision systems, or autonomous navigation technologies will be an added advantage.

• Able to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
