System Engineer (VMware)

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain VMware-based virtual infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter servers, and virtual machines

• Implement and manage VMware features and technologies such as vMotion, High Availability, and Distributed Resource Scheduler

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of the VMware environment

• Develop and document standard operating procedures for VMware administration and management

• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of the VMware infrastructure with other systems

• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on VMware-related issues

• Stay up-to-date with the latest VMware technologies and best practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a System Engineer or Administrator in a VMware environment

• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, including installation, configuration, and management

• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex VMware-related issues

• Experience in scripting and automation using tools like PowerCLI or Python
