System Engineer, Unmanned Maritime Systems

We are looking for a creative, resourceful System Engineer to join us. You will be responsible for interpreting system requirements, designing solutions, and implementing solutions. This role requires good system architecture skills to produce documentation for submission. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team and be exposed to interactions with customers, partners, vendors, and sub-contractors. All efforts will feed into delivering mission-critical autonomous solutions for maritime vessels. Experience in maritime industry and power supply design is preferred.

• Translate system level requirements and use cases into verifiable subsystem and component level requirements.
• Design, source, and integrate subsystems, and evaluate hardware and software solutions.
• Work with industry partners to evaluate and adapt their solutions to fulfil requirements.
• Work with internal engineering development team to define required solutions.
• Troubleshoot system and propose solutions to ensure high availability of system.
• Develop and execute integration and test plans.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Communicate with customer on system design and implementation.
• Implement designs and solutions on-site.

Requirements

Knowledge in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.

Good technical, creativity in problem-solving skills and strong reasoning ability.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.

Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to mechanical engineering is an advantage

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Ability to travel overseas as required
