System Engineer

UFA, Inc., a global leader in developing Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulation and voice recognition technologies, is seeking an ATC Specialist for our Singapore Branch Office. Our ATC Specialists are a key component of our operations by providing testing, installation, training, and support services for our domestic and international clients and by collaborating between the software development teams and the end user to ensure that systems provided meet or exceed expectations. Other duties include air space modelling and human factors studies

Job Responsibilities:

Successful candidate will use his/her knowledge and experience on product development for our Asia Pacific commercial and military programs. Responsibilities include the following:

. Provide technical expertise and support to our programs and business development in Asia Pacific

. Assist with Business Development initiatives:

o Conduct product demonstrations customer installations and training

o Support Proposal and Tender requirements

. Support our commercial and military customers locally or remotely by:

o Develop and update airport databases using 2D/3D Modeling software based on customers requirements and aviation documents

o Configure and set up customer installations onsite, including workstation setup and software configuration

o Plan, organize, and execute onsite and remote testing activities (e.g. Factory and Site Acceptance Test).

o Provide onsite support, troubleshooting hardware- and software-related issues

o Tracks defects and causal analysis to closure

o Providing training to customers on the use of our software

o Write and maintain training materials and user manuals

o Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

. Degree in IT or Aerospace

. Excellent English and Chinese oral and written communications skills

. Demonstrated willingness to work as a team with the ability to work alone with engineering support

. Previous experience with software-based standalone or embedded ATC simulation products is a plus

. Experience using JIRA and Confluence is a plus

. Knowledge and experience in Air Traffic Control domain is a plus

. International travel may be required with some trips up to 1 month
