Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and support the installation and maintenance of hardware, software, and network components throughout project delivery.
- Monitor system performance, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement proactive measures to prevent recurring issues.
- Ensure operational systems meet contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain high service availability.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and operational tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and infrastructure faults.
- Maintain accurate and updated project documentation and reports.
- Diagnose technical problems and execute appropriate corrective actions.
- Provide standby/on-call support when required to ensure uninterrupted system operations.
Requirements:
- Practical experience with Windows Server, Unix/Linux operating systems, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to apply critical thinking in dynamic environments.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of VPN technologies and firewall appliances is an advantage.
- Good familiarity with network devices such as routers and switches is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise hardware including servers, SAN, and NAS systems.
- Experience in operating system, system, and network equipment hardening.
- Knowledge of Patch Management processes and tools.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Exchange/mail services, databases, and web/application servers.
