Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end planning and implementation of SAP ERP, collaborating with business and IT teams to design solutions, configure systems, manage testing, and support post go-live improvements in a smart factory environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead or co-lead SAP ERP implementation projects from requirement analysis through go-live and stabilization to deliver effective system solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders across finance, procurement, logistics, production, and warehouse to analyze current processes, identify gaps, and define future-state SAP processes
- Facilitate solution design workshops to propose SAP best-practice solutions and align on process blueprints
- Define and document functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for development of custom objects, reports, interfaces, and enhancements
- Configure SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, and QM according to project requirements and expertise
- Plan and execute integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and cutover activities with business and IT teams to ensure smooth transitions
- Support data migration planning and execution by mapping, cleansing, and validating data for accurate system integration
- Manage project timelines, risks, and issues while maintaining clear communication and alignment with stakeholders
- Provide post go-live support by resolving issues and driving continuous improvement of SAP processes and functionalities
- Collaborate with other application teams (e.g., MES, WMS, Oracle ERP, in-house systems) to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration in a smart factory environment
- Contribute to SAP governance and standards by managing change processes, maintaining documentation, and developing training materials for key users
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related fields
- Expertise in at least one or two core SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, PP, WM/EWM, or QM
- Ability to analyze business processes and design SAP solutions accordingly
- Experience configuring SAP modules relevant to project scope
- Skill in writing and validating functional specifications for custom developments and integrations
- Familiarity with SAP integration methods including IDoc, RFC, Web Services, APIs, or middleware for connecting SAP with external systems
- Experience managing testing phases including integration tests and UAT, and planning cutover activities
- Understanding of data migration concepts and tools such as LSMW or migration cockpit
- Proven ability to work within structured project methodologies like SAP Activate or ASAP
