Job Description
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand user requirements and develop practical system designs.
- Review and consolidate overall system design to ensure completeness and alignment with project requirements.
- Prepare and submit equipment samples for approval in accordance with the approved equipment list.
- Generate termination diagrams and related drawings for the site implementation team.
- Prepare and submit system design documents, including calculations, schematics and technical descriptions.
- Liaise with the Procurement team and raise purchase requests for system-related equipment and materials.
- Track equipment delivery status and update the System Manager and Project Manager on any delays or issues.
- Plan and coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and internal testing activities.
- Develop testing and commissioning (T&C) checklists for consultant/client review and approval.
- Perform system testing, record faults and coordinate with the site team for rectification works.
- Troubleshoot system issues and support testing and commissioning on site when required.
- Conduct user and operator training sessions and prepare/submit Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
- Brief the maintenance team and support the handover process to operations/maintenance stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Systems, or equivalent)
- Preferably 2-5 years of experience in system design, testing and commissioning, or system integration projects.
- Able to understand user requirements and translate them into system architecture and design.
- Able to read and develop system drawings, schematics and termination diagrams.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills
