System Engineer (DSC/TE/17916)

You will be a key technology partner to our customers in the Defence sector to thrive on developing the next breakthrough for the defence and security of Singapore. The role involves designing and deploying systems with servers and network elements over wide area networks. Responsibilities include identifying system requirements, proposing solutions, testing and delivery of the system.

Be Part of Our Success

• Participate in the definition, design, installation and delivery of systems comprising servers and network elements deployed over wide area networks
• Identifying all contractual system requirements (system analysis inclusive of interface requirements) and propose solutions
• Work with the project or system manager to generate system specifications
• Set up test bed for development and integration testing
• Sourcing equipment and managing vendor
• Formulating system validation and sub-system integrations into Acceptance Test cases and evaluation activities
• Support Acceptance Test with Customer and compiling Acceptance Test report

Qualities We Value

• Strong analytical and technical writing skills
• Willing to mentor and share knowledge with other team members
• Cisco and/or Red Hat certification is highly desired
• Interest in hardware integration and site testing
• Willingness to travel for overseas assignments
• Working location is in Jurong East
