System Engineer (CCTV)

Duration: Yearly Renewable Contract (Convertible)

Working Location: AMK

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (830am – 6pm)

Salary range: $4000 to $6000 (Based on experience)

Job Responsibilities:

• Closely collaborate with Project Manager and Engineers to support the fulfilment of contract obligations within timeline, cost, and scope
• Manage and oversee project documentation and subcontractor matters
• Perform system setup, server configuration, and database setup, including onsite installations where required
• Handle and support virtual hardware environments and system infrastructure
• Support IT infrastructure comprising Microsoft OS and Windows Servers
• Perform basic setup of network switches, configure IP addresses, and conduct network connectivity checks for all network devices within the project
• Setup network connections and perform connection testing to ensure system stability and performance
• Support integration with IoT devices and front-end systems where required by project scope
• Configure and manage cameras and related system components where applicable
• Perform installation, debugging, and troubleshooting of IT-related issues during project implementation
• Support system integration activities and testing phases, including UAT / FAT / SAT

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant system-related experience
• Experience in IT Management Systems Deployment, with proficiency in Database, Networking, Windows OS, and Windows Servers
• Experience in server setup and configuration, including onsite installation environments
• Knowledge or experience working with virtual hardware environments
• Experience in system integration and testing environments (UAT / FAT / SAT)
• Experience in database cluster setup, data backup, and recovery processes
• Experience in data migration, data integration, and data monitoring
• Experience analyzing tender requirements and supporting tender bidding processes
• Experience and knowledge in certification management, key management, and infrastructure common services such as AD (Active Directory), NMS, ClearPass, MFA / 2FA, eG, KMS, AntiVirus, Patch Management, MDM
• Familiar with network device configuration, IP addressing, and network connectivity testing
• Good understanding of system architecture design and ability to draft professional technical documentation
• AUTOCAD or SLD knowledge will be an added advantage
• Knowledge or experience in IoT device integration and camera system configuration is preferred
