Responsibilities:
- Provide support and ensure the stability of POS systems, networks, and IT infrastructure.
- Deliver 1st-level troubleshooting support for IT hardware and operational systems.
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Ensure servers are regularly updated with the latest security patches.
- Maintain, upgrade, and support existing IT infrastructure as required.
- Provide guidance to colleagues on best practices for system and technology usage.
- Execute and monitor patch management activities to ensure system security and compliance.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of IT systems and technologies to support future business needs.
- Manage relationships with key vendors and external partners.
- Collaborate with vendors, project leads, and end users to resolve issues and ensure sustainable solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of IT assets, including purchases and leases.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant IT support experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and responsible.
- Basic knowledge of L1 networking concepts.
- Experience with cloud platforms is an advantage.
- ITIL Foundation certification is an added advantage.
