Recruitment Position: System Architect Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Understand the product requirements, study relevant standards and specifications, propose innovative ideas, and develop detailed hardware architectural specifications

Develop Signal Processing algorithms for communication products.

Define design specifications for complex hardware blocks and accelerators, in close collaboration with the digital design engineers for power, performance and timing requirements.

Provide technical leadership throughout the development, working closely and assisting designers, verification and system validation engineers, providing solutions and promptly resolving issues during the development of the SOC.

Reviewing verification and validation plans for the design verification and system teams, identifying gaps, helping to debug issues in the pre and post silicon platforms, and ensuring strict conformance with standards and specifications.

Understand the design specifications of existing hardware modules, identifying areas of improvements, communicating with the team and making architectural and design enhancements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's or Master's Degree or PDF in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Proven ability to thrive in a small, agile engineering team, taking initiative, prioritizing tasks and handle evolving technical challenges, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability from design through validation and delivery.

Min 5 years of experience in SOC hardware architecture development for communication networking, multimedia and/or communication SOCs

Strong understanding in chip hardware and system design and hand on experience on SOC system design projects

Good understanding of different SOC architectures, Signal processing, interconnects (NIC/NOC), buses and hardware/software/firmware partition

Prior experience of driving system architecture decisions across Software/Firmware/Hardware/Design teams to build up the consensus and translate ideas into architecture specifications will be a major plus
