We are seeking a skilled System Analyst (Digital Banking) on a 3-month contract to support the delivery of digital banking solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into detailed system specifications, manage dependencies, and ensure successful end-to-end solution delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, evaluate, and document system interactions for digital banking products, identifying areas for improvement.
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical documentation aligned with the organisation's context.
- Envision, design, and document end-to-end system solutions with a focus on detail and downstream impacts.
- Facilitate discussions with vendors, technology teams, and business users to drive solution design.
- Lead and manage technical teams (developers, analysts) in delivering banking systems and solutions.
- Manage project execution including scope, timeline, budget, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Drive testing strategy and manage test cycles, ensuring timely resolution of defects.
- Partner with solution and enterprise architects to introduce technical innovations.
- Plan project efforts to upgrade, enhance, and maintain systems at supported release levels.
- Organise and chair governance meetings, preparing materials and minutes.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements in all deliverables.
- Provide direction to offshore teams, ensuring timely decisions and conflict resolution.
Requirements
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of digital banking products and system interactions.
- Proven experience in technical documentation, system analysis, and solution design.
- Ability to work in Agile environments (Scrum), as well as knowledge of Waterfall delivery.
- Experience in managing technical project lifecycle: requirements, design, testing, and delivery.
- Strong communication skills to engage business users, developers, testers, and stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- At least 1 year of experience driving system/technical requirements lifecycle from product vision to detailed specifications.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in delivering digital banking solutions (e.g., Internet/Mobile Banking, Cards, ATM, Payments).
- Familiarity with consumer/retail banking products and services.
- Understanding of technology stacks and architecture layers.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills, with stakeholder management experience.
- Experience working with offshore teams.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
