We are seeking an experienced System Analyst with a strong background in IT for the manufacturing sector. This role will involve supporting the IT project pipeline management and ensuring the fulfillment of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for converting business requirements into technical solutions, assisting in project planning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the IT Manager in managing the IT project pipeline, ensuring alignment with priority, difficulty, and availability criteria for efficient SDLC fulfillment.
Review IT project and change requests, maintaining the IT project master list and providing regular updates on project accomplishments, progress, and status.
Assign reference numbers to IT requests, review business process flow changes, perform first-level risk assessments, evaluate dependencies, and collaborate with the requestor and DevOps team to mitigate risks.
Support the 42Q support team in identifying new error types, transferring knowledge to the IT support team, and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling common 42Q issues.
Translate customer and internal business requirements into functional specifications and assist in the development of solutions related to manufacturing and business systems.
Report progress on IT projects and change management to business stakeholders, contribute to IT solutioning, and assist with backup system development.
Conduct system gap and dependency analysis, assist with System Integration Testing (SIT), and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business owners to ensure the quality of IT deliverables.
Collaborate with IT teams across various domains such as SAP, B2B, GSCM, and WMS for issue root cause analysis, testing, and liaising between business teams and technical teams.
Work with support and development teams to identify root causes of issues and implement bug fixes.
Requirements:
A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in gathering user requirements, performing analysis, drafting functional specifications, and implementing IT systems, particularly in the manufacturing domain.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, or similar programming languages, with a solid understanding of project management fundamentals.
Experience in IT systems within a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Availability to support overtime (OT) during weekends (remote work is expected, with a rotating schedule within the team).
