Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled System Analyst to join our IT team. This role focuses on managing Microsoft 365 cloud technologies, supporting end-user environments, and enhancing automation workflows and system integrations.
You will play a key role in ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our IT systems, while contributing to automation initiatives that improve operational productivity and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Administration & Security
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 E5 services (Microsoft Defender, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune)
- Manage user accounts, mailboxes, permissions, and access controls
- Implement and maintain security configurations and compliance controls
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to email, identity, endpoint, and access management
End-User Support & Endpoint Management
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and enterprise applications
- Manage devices via Microsoft Intune (enrolment, policies, compliance)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Maintain documentation for incidents, resolutions, and procedures
Automation & System Integration
- Support and maintain IT automation workflows and system integrations
- Troubleshoot automation failures, API issues, and data inconsistencies
- Assist in improving processes to reduce manual effort and enhance efficiency
- Support testing, deployment, and monitoring of automation pipelines
Operations & Collaboration
- Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues
- Maintain system and workflow documentation
- Participate in standby/on-call support for critical incidents
- Support ongoing IT operational and improvement initiatives
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 environment
- Familiarity with:Microsoft Defender, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft IntuneIdentity and access management conceptsEndpoint/device management
- Experience in end-user support and troubleshooting in a corporate environment
- Basic understanding of:Workflow automation and system integrationsAPI-based systems, scheduled jobs, or automation tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and service-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Willing to provide after-office-hours standby support when required
Good to Have
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 E5 configurations and policies
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools
- Experience with automation tools or low-code platforms
- Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and integrations
- Exposure to cybersecurity or incident response
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, AWS, etc.)
