System Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers (physical and virtual).
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, and permissions.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and perform backups.
• Support cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Implement security updates, patch management, and assist with vulnerability assessments.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.
• Utilize monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.
• Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with the IT team on infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in System Administration.
• Good experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) required.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, security.
