System Administrator (IT)

Job Description

Operation:

. Maintain IT environment (network, servers, PCs, etc ) to ensure continuity, secure and stable operation.

. Support both local and remote users on IT related issues.

. Setup, configure and troubleshoot server, network infrastructure and security for the organization.

. Design and implement new system and network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.

. Ensure data backup and recovery, plans for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.

. Ensure high availability of services through regular server and network maintenance.

. Implement security patches for operating systems, servers and network devices.

. Involves in new technology evaluation and IT hardware/software requisition assessment & purchases.

Vendor Management

. Manages Vendor relationships and liaise with IT vendors for hardware, software, contract renewal and any other IT infrastructure related items and services.

Control

. To maintain and review system documents, operation manual and relevant Audit / Control documents.

. Ensure compliance of IT infrastructure with company IT policies and security requirements.

Others

. Part of the overall Global IT Infrastructure Team

. Any other IT related ad-hoc tasks assigned by reporting manager.

Requirements

. At least 1-3 years of working experiences in IT networking and Infrastructure support.

. At least 1-3 years of hand-on experiences in Windows Server administration, Hypervisor (VMware and HyperV), AD, DNS, DHCP, File Servers management, storage, Microsoft 365, Exchange online, Azure AD, SharePoint, Cloud backup operations, etc.

. At least 1-3 years of hand-on experiences in implementation, administration and troubleshooting of network switches, Wi-Fi system, firewall & security appliance (Fortinet), cyber security, etc.

. Strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policies.

. Proven experience with Implementing Firewall and VLAN environment.

. Familiar with Cloud platforms.

Experience in Site-To-Site Network connectivity implementation
