Job Description
. User onboarding and offboarding (accounts, devices, access permissions, shared drives, emails).
. Workstation setup, configuration, and maintenance.
. System performance management - updates, cleanup, storage optimization, antivirus compliance/ monitoring
. Microsoft 365 administration - Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD, Office apps.
. License and subscription management (Office, antivirus, Zoom, etc.).
. Troubleshooting - business applications, hardware, and infrastructure-related issues etc.
. Ticketing system administration.
. Backup and data recovery systems - local and cloud solutions.
. File hosting and shared drive administration - NAS or cloud environments.
. Documentation of IT processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
. IT asset inventory management and tracking.
. Network and Wi-Fi management - VPN access and troubleshooting.
. Email domain, DNS, and certificate configuration and upkeep.
. VoIP phone extension setup and support.
. CCTV security camera monitoring and maintenance.
. Research and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.
. Security governance - MFA, password policies, device compliance.
. Ensuring best practices for data protection and system access control.
. Planning and managing hardware/software purchases.
. Standardizing IT equipment and technology.
. Provide help desk and technical support to on-site and remote employees.
Experience & Qualifications
. Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
. Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on IT support or system administration experience.
. Strong knowledge of Windows OS deployment, troubleshooting and device configuration.
. Experience with Microsoft 365 admin - Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD.
. Familiar with backup solutions (cloud and local) and file sharing services.
. Knowledge of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc.
. Strong problem-solving skills with urgency in issue resolution.
. Well-organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
. Familiar with IT security practices, governance, and data protection practices.
