What the role involves is the following

Main tasks / responsibilities:

  • Represent the Systems Sales Division for the region of South-East Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand)
  • Responsible for Sales Targets and Annual Forecast / Budget for the SEA region
  • Lead, coach and guide Sales Managers and support Agent FS representatives in the region
  • Act as Front Sales for South-East Asia
  • Ensure Business Development of BC products & solutions in Australia tin cooperation with our Agent in Australia.
  • Link and communicate with Segment Leaders and internal BC functions according to company processes and standards.
  • Penetrate new equipment market, evaluate new potential customers, increase brand and product awareness, and create market awareness.
  • Manage customer relationships and account development. Discuss upcoming projects and equipment requirements.
  • Generate leads and identify opportunities.
  • Review customer terms and conditions and negotiate favorable agreements and contracts with customers.
  • Document and follow sales procedures and ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and codes to verify compliance of customer purchase orders.
  • Compile project relevant documentation lists for all new projects, ensure documents and specifications are in order and up to date, and are all made available to project management and engineering.
  • Plan and control sales and marketing activities; manage resources, arrange for exchange rate protection, and ensure complete and on time reporting.
  • Ensure documents, proposals and commercial files, data banks and electronic files are properly organized, adequately stored and up to date.
  • Assist with the development of market strategy in accordance with the company's mid-range plan.
  • Gather information concerning market conditions, requirements, and customer needs.
  • Generate credible and up to date sales prediction, prepare and maintain an effective pricing strategy in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Provide effective leadership to colleagues and subordinate coworkers.
  • Inform the supervisor and/or management of any deficiency or non-compliance with company policy or procedure within or outside the area of responsibility.
  • Daily exercise CRM and integrate all accounts (contact points), Potentials, Inquiry, Quotation, visit reports as well as opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You will succeed with the following

Education / Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferably in the field of business
  • Five to seven years related experience and/or training
  • Must have previous sales experience with process gas compressors or pump products

Language requirements:


  • Fluent in English
  • Business fluent, contractual level, in English orally and in writing
