Syndicated Loan Support Specialist

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our Loan Syndication team.

This role is primarily focused on supporting the team in the areas of documentation, KYC coordination, internal reporting support, facility-related administration, covenant monitoring, and transaction record maintenance. The successful candidate will work closely with Relationship Managers and senior team members to ensure that documentation, monitoring, and administrative processes are handled accurately and in a timely manner.

This position is well suited for candidates who are interested in building experience in corporate lending and syndicated loan support functions within a corporate banking environment. It offers practical exposure to internal coordination, documentation handling, post-disbursement monitoring, and transaction-related support work in a lean and collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities

. Assist in the preparation of internal reports and supporting materials for Branch Management, Head Office, and regulatory-related submissions

. Support the management and monitoring of corporate credit facilities in accordance with the Bank's internal policies and regulatory requirements

. Assist in handling loan-related documentation, including the preparation, checking, maintenance, and filing of English-language credit documents

. Support drawdown-related administrative work and fee collection / fee record management for loan transactions

. Coordinate KYC-related timelines, document collection, renewals, and follow-up actions

. Assist in monitoring compliance with financial covenants and other ongoing obligations under loan documentation, and follow up on any outstanding items as required

. Maintain proper records of loan and transaction documents in both physical and electronic form

. Support the organisation, filing, and safekeeping of completed deal files and related documents after transaction closing

. Liaise with internal departments, clients, and partner banks for document follow-up and administrative coordination

. Monitor outstanding documents and ensure timely follow-up on pending items

. Provide day-to-day support to Relationship Managers and senior team members in relation to transaction documentation and administrative matters

. Perform other duties as assigned by Branch Management

Requirements

. Degree in Finance, Business, Accountancy, Economics, or a related discipline

. Basic knowledge of accounting and the ability to understand financial statements

. Good written and spoken English

. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

. Ability to manage documentation, timelines, and follow-up tasks in a careful and structured manner

. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

. Responsible, dependable, and able to manage assigned tasks independently

. Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a team-based environment

Preferred Qualifications

. Prior exposure to banking operations, KYC, loan documentation, credit administration, or transaction support work would be advantageous

. Experience in handling documentation, record maintenance, reporting support, covenant monitoring, or facility-related administrative work is a plus

. Exposure to corporate banking or syndicated loans would be beneficial, but is not mandatory

. Korean language capability would be advantageous due to internal coordination with Head Office and support for Korean-related transaction matters

. Singaporean or Permanent Resident preferred
