Job Scope
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of switchgear installation projects, including planning, scheduling, coordination and quality assurance
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors and suppliers to ensure the successful installation of switchgear systems
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Provide technical expertise and oversight to the construction team to support the successful completion of projects
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation to track project progress and outcomes
- Continuously look for ways to improve processes and drive efficiencies in switchgear installation
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 2+ years of experience as a Switchgear Project Engineer or in a similar role within the same industry
- Strong technical knowledge of switchgear systems, including installation, testing and commissioning
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan, coordinate and deliver complex projects
- Proven track record of identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project outcomes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
