Switchgear Engineer – (High Voltage (HV) & Medium Voltage (MV))

TheSwitchgear Engineer (HV & MV) is responsible for supporting theengineering, technical coordination, and execution of high voltage and mediumvoltage switchgear projects in Singapore. This role provides technical supportacross the project lifecycle, including design review, engineeringcoordination, procurement technical clarifications, installation support,testing coordination, commissioning readiness, and final handoverdocumentation. The Switchgear Engineer works closely with Project Managers,OEMs, clients, consultants, and internal site teams to ensure switchgearsystems are delivered in compliance with OEM requirements, Singapore standards,client specifications, and safety regulations.

KeyResponsibilities:

Engineering& Technical Coordination:

SupportHV/MV switchgear projects from engineering phase through to commissioning andhandover. Review and coordinate technical deliverables including single linediagrams, general arrangement drawings, wiring diagrams, protection interfacedrawings, and equipment datasheets. Coordinate technical interfaces betweenswitchgear, protection relays, SCADA/RTU, and auxiliary systems.

Requirements:

. Diplomaor bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related technicaldiscipline.

Minimum 2-5years of experience in electrical infrastructure projects involving HV/MVswitchgear.

Exposure toeither 22kV / 6.6kV MV switchgear or 66kV / 230kV / 400kV HV switchgear (AirInsulated Switchgear / Gas Insulated Switchgear) and experience supportinginstallation, testing, and commissioning activities in Singapore is stronglypreferred.
