Job Summary
- ExperiencedSWIFT Consultantwith strong expertise in SWIFT messaging standards (MT/MX/ISO 20022), SWIFT Product suite viz AMH, SAA, SAG/SNL, HSM, Alliance Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the SME for SWIFT Alliance products (AMH, SAA, SAG, Alliance Cloud, SWIFTNet Link, RMA, HSM, PKI).
- Manage and configure SWIFTNet connectivity, VPN, TLS, and certificate lifecycle.
- Support onboarding and end-to-end integration of SWIFT MT/MX messages, including RJE XMLv2 format and AMH AMP.
- Able to do routing rules changes on SAA and AMH to route the messages to specific channels.
- Monitoring message status, system health, and error logs for real-time issue detection.
- Investigate NAKs or rejections, troubleshoot formatting/connection issues, and communicate to respective team
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and regularly assess SWIFT CSP controls, including mandatory and advisory controls, and contribute to the annual attestation process.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams for OS-level hardening, firewall configurations, and secure channel setup.
- Provide support during SIT, UAT and SWIFT audits.
Key Skills & Qualifications
SWIFT Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of SWIFT MT/MX message types, ISO 20022, message validation/enrichment, and routing configuration over SWIFT messaging interface such as SAA and AMH.
- Familiarity with MEPS+, RTGS, CBPR+, or other high-value payment systems.
- Expertise in RMA management, BIC configurations, and FIN/FileAct/InterAct channels.
SWIFT CSP & Security Compliance:
- Hands-on experience with SWIFT CSP implementation, including understanding of mandatory and advisory controls, control evidence collection, and SWIFT attestation tools.
- Familiar with annual SWIFT CSP security assessments and integration of controls into infrastructure and operations.
- Strong awareness of cybersecurity threats, incident response, and compliance audits.
Infrastructure & Systems:
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix/Windows server administration, scripting, and system hardening.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, firewall configuration, VPN setup, and TLS security.
Database & Reporting:
- Experience with Oracle, or SQL Server for querying, and reporting SWIFT messages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical field.
- Previous experience consulting with central banks, financial institutions, or regulatory authorities.
Soft Skills
- Clear and confident communicator able to coordinate with infra, app, security, and compliance teams.
- Strong documentation skills for audit, control, and operations handover.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
