We're seeking a future team member for the role of SVP, Resiliency Risk Management to join our APAC Technology Risk Management team. This role is located in Singapore.
Role Overview:
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Resiliency Risk Management is a Second Line of Defense risk function accountable for leading the oversight and challenge of resiliency risk management for assigned Platforms and Resilience Risks. The candidate will have a strong acumen for Resiliency Risk and its related domains (including industry frameworks, standard tools and techniques).
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the evaluation of controls owned by 1LOD functions to identify control gaps, review, and disposition these gaps, and track actions to resolution for assigned Platforms and Resiliency Risk domains.
- Lead the evaluation of business continuity, disaster recovery, third-party and cyber resilience strategies, recovery plans and tests
- Partner with the 1LOD and 2LOD to assess compliance with enterprise level resiliency policies and controls to validate the effectiveness of defined resiliency controls to determine performance improvement enhancements.
- Support assessments of regulatory changes impacting areas of resiliency risk and control.
- Lead assessment, monitoring and reporting of resiliency risks inherent to business activities.
- Lead the enforcement of relevant risk policies.
- Participate in resiliency risk management industry forums to identify industry trends.
- Apply understanding of business function interdependencies to anticipate resiliency risks inherent to assigned areas.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- The candidate must have minimum 7 years experience in risk management and leading practices for control design and implementation, experience in resilience risk management is a plus.
- The candidate must have strong communication skills and demonstrate a record of accomplishment and excellence in delivery.
- Strong relationship management skills, ability to partner with a large array of constituents, and ability to manage and influence change are required.
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Relevant professional certifications would be a plus.
- Appetite for learning is also a must to function in a changing resiliency risk landscape.
- Prior work experience supporting a large, regulated institution, preferably financial services, would be a plus.
