Description

Our client is a leading global financial institution with a well-established Global Markets franchise across Asia Pacific and key international markets. As part of its continued investment in business transformation and strategic initiatives, they are seeking an experienced VP, Project Manager to join its regional team.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Head of Change and Transformation, you will lead the delivery of strategic initiatives across the Global Markets business, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across front office, operations, technology, risk, compliance and finance. You will drive end-to-end project execution, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to business objectives.

As a key member of the transformation team, you will manage complex cross-functional projects spanning operating model enhancements, process optimisation, regulatory initiatives, platform migrations and business growth programmes. You will be responsible for establishing project governance frameworks, managing project plans, coordinating stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions, identifying and mitigating risks, and providing regular updates to senior management. Working within a regional environment, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing target operating models that improve efficiency, scalability and business performance.

Qualifications

Degree qualified, you possess a proven track record in project management within the banking and financial services industry, with strong exposure to Global Markets businesses. Experience delivering large-scale regional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams is essential. Exposure to target operating model design, business transformation and change management programmes will be highly advantageous.

You are a structured and analytical professional with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Commercially minded and delivery-focused, you are comfortable navigating complex organisational environments and influencing senior stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes. Qualified accountant (CA/CPA) preferred.
