Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Program Manager to drive and coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives within the Innovation Group. This role is suited for a seasoned leader who thrives in ambiguity, can navigate matrixed environments, and is passionate about leveraging emerging technologies to deliver meaningful business transformation.
The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end program delivery, working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to ensure initiatives are executed efficiently, compliantly, and with measurable impact.
Program Management
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of innovation and emerging technology programs, from planning through execution and implementation.
- Partner with stakeholders across business and support functions to align priorities, manage interdependencies, and drive successful outcomes.
- Facilitate data, design, and solution discussions across vendors, technology teams, and user groups to ensure alignment and feasibility.
- Direct and coordinate project teams comprising internal and external resources to deliver agreed objectives within scope, time, and budget.
Project Governance
- Establish and enforce appropriate project governance, including impact assessment of scope changes and change requests.
- Organize and chair governance forums, ensuring timely preparation of materials, status reporting, and meeting minutes.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with internal policies, risk standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Track, measure, and report program progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders and governance bodies.
Scope Management
- Manage and control changes to the approved scope of work.
- Assess the impact of proposed changes on timelines, costs, and resources.
- Ensure all scope changes are appropriately reviewed, documented, and approved through governance channels.
Risk and Issue Management
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage program risks and issues, including financial, operational, and delivery risks.
- Escalate critical risks and issues in a timely manner with clear recommendations for mitigation.
- Define and drive the testing strategy, overseeing testing cycles to ensure resolution of all critical and high-severity defects prior to go-live.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships across multiple business lines and with external vendors and partners.
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned activities through effective communication, expectation management, and issue resolution.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects and programs in large, matrixed organizations.
- Strong grounding in project and program management disciplines, with hands-on experience across both SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Proven exposure to emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, digital assets, blockchain, and data-driven products, with working knowledge of system integration and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Project for planning, tracking, and executive-level reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across business, technology, and external teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders and priorities concurrently.
- Confident and credible presenter, able to engage senior leadership and diverse audiences.
- Resilient, adaptable, and results-driven, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and high-pressure environments.
- PMP certification preferred.
