SVP, Finance Transformation, Global Bank

About Our Client:

Our client is a global mid-sized wholesale bank, well-regarded for its established presence and progressive approach to banking. This SVP role presents a unique opportunity to lead transformative finance initiatives and contribute directly to operational efficiency and performance growth across its regional platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Transformation & Change Leadership: Drive enterprise-wide finance transformation, with a focus on change management, shared service migration, offshoring, and organization restructuring. Enhance processes across financial reporting, tax, regulatory compliance, and business analysis.

Strategic Performance Analysis: Provide critical financial insights to support business growth. Oversee the development and refinement of financial models, dashboards, and KPIs that support informed decision-making and sustained commercial performance.

Business Partnering & Execution: Work closely with senior management across functions to align finance strategy with business objectives. Identify cost efficiencies, assess new business proposals, and support long-term planning and regional expansion strategies.

Requirements:

Experience: At least 12 15 years of experience in finance leadership within corporate or regional banking environments. Proven track record in driving large-scale finance transformation is essential.

Expertise: Solid knowledge in financial planning, transformation, and commercial finance. Experience in Target Operating Model (TOM) re-organization is essential. Experience in wholesale banking or financial services is preferred.

Leadership Skills: Change-oriented with strong stakeholder management abilities. Demonstrated success in leading cross-border teams, managing ambiguity, and delivering under pressure.
