About The Team
The Enterprise Architecture (EA) team plays a crucial role within Technology & Operations, we are dedicated to guiding business strategy through technology, promoting best practices like standardization and reusability, and driving the adoption of open standards and open source to ensure competitive advantage and prevent vendor lock-in.
Our team also explores emerging technologies, conducts experiments, and advocates for application modernization and migration from legacy systems to future-proof the Bank.
About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Enterprise Architect to join our team. This individual will be instrumental in shaping our technology landscape, with a particular focus on driving the Enterprise Architecture (EA) tool, transformation, and AI agenda. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to enhance our architectural capabilities and foster innovation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture Tool (EATL) Management and Enhancement:
- Drive the strategic adoption and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Architecture Tool (EATL).
- Leverage the EATL's capabilities for drawing journey and architecture diagrams using user-friendly drag-and-drop functionalities.
- Facilitate the integration and utilization of pre-defined patterns within the EATL to ensure accurate and standardized architectures across all Lines of Business and Technology (LOBTs).
Innovation And Transformation Leadership
- Lead initiatives to identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance our enterprise architecture.
- Champion technological transformation efforts, ensuring alignment with the bank's long-term strategy and sustainability goals.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across technology platforms.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Agenda Development And Implementation
- Contribute to the strategic development and execution of the AI agenda within the Enterprise Architecture framework.
- Harness industry-transforming Artificial Intelligence, including Generative AI, to create wide varieties of data and solve complex problems, improving communication and future interactions.
- Ensure that AI initiatives align with the broader goal of making DBS an AI-Fueled Bank through the democratization of data and AI/ML to provide insights.
- Foster an AI-ready culture and promote AI fluency within the organization, enabling colleagues to leverage AI tools for more effective and efficient results.
Architecture Governance And Best Practices
- Define and enforce a set of governing principles to guide discussions on business strategy and its technological expression.
- Advocate for best practices such as standardization and reusability in architectural initiatives.
- Identify risk and control gaps, and propose process improvements within the architectural domain.
Requirement
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar leadership role within a large organization.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in driving technological innovation and transformation.
- Expertise in AI/ML technologies and their application in enterprise environments, including Generative AI concepts.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools, with experience in EATL being a significant advantage.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
