SVP, Data Architect & Delivery Lead

We are seeking a senior technology leader to drive the design and delivery of enterprise data platforms within a leading financial services organisation.

This role is intended for a technically strong architect who combines deep engineering expertise with full accountability for end-to-end implementation. The successful candidate will be directly involved in architectural direction, solution design, and execution oversight across complex, multi-team initiatives.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will lead the development of modern data and analytics ecosystems and shape scalable and secure platform architectures aligned with regulatory expectations.

You will oversee the full lifecycle of delivery, from translating business requirements into technical blueprints through development, validation, production rollout, and post-implementation stability.

Managing cross-location engineering teams and aligning technical roadmaps with business priorities will be central to your remit.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings over 15 years of technology experience, including significant exposure to enterprise data architecture and engineering leadership within large-scale environments.

You should demonstrate strong capability across data platforms, analytics systems, and AI/ML enablement, with hands-on understanding of system integration patterns, distributed data architectures, and modern cloud-based or hybrid ecosystems.

While financial services experience is advantageous, candidates from other complex and regulated industries will be considered if they can demonstrate strong architectural depth and enterprise delivery credentials.
