Group T&O Credit Administration and Control provides back-office credit processing and credit administration support to the credit and business units of the Bank.
Reporting Structure And Key Duties
- Reports to the Division Head of Credit Administration and Control.
- Assists in overseeing the smooth operation of the department, focusing on operations risk assurance & control, credit compliance, security documentation, and credit cum collateral processing.
- Ensures smooth delivery of projects affecting the department.
- Monitors risk controls and ensures compliance with the Bank's credit policies and statutory provisions.
- Leads and participates in the talent development of the team.
- Champions the operation service model, operations risk assurance & control, and project initiatives.
- Seeks continuous improvements for existing and future services and processes to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage operations risk assurance and control for the division, including subsidiaries and overseas branches.
- Lead and manage the processing team, covering credit operations and project delivery.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and projects of Wholesale credit operations, including processing of legal and security documentation.
- Demonstrate functional and technical expertise required for core job aspects.
- Formulate system and work processes, and drive process improvements for operational and project requirements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of systems, work processes, process improvements, and project initiatives.
- Manage departmental projects in accordance with agreed terms, ensuring successful implementation within set timeframes and budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- At least 12-15 years experience in wholesale and retail lending, credit, treasury, and trade operational processes, with expertise in wholesale credit operations, regulatory, and legal compliance.
- Functional and technical expertise in lending, credit, treasury, trade financing, regulations, risk, and legal guidelines.
- Proven track record in managing a sizeable operations team, with strong exposure to both wholesale and retail credit lending, and knowledge of relevant application systems.
- Well-developed leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work under challenging and demanding circumstances to meet deadlines.
