Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior relationship lead for a portfolio of hedge fund and alternative investment clients
- Manage and deepen relationships with C-suite stakeholders, founders, COOs, CFOs and operational decision-makers
- Act as the strategic bridge between clients and internal operational teams across fund accounting, operations and investor services
- Drive client satisfaction, retention and account growth through proactive engagement and problem resolution
- Oversee complex client escalations and develop action plans to improve service delivery outcomes
- Review client profitability, operational risks and service models while balancing both client and business objectives
- Partner closely with business development teams on client onboarding, new launches and additional service opportunities
- Lead and mentor a team of Relationship Managers while contributing to broader regional client service initiatives
- Participate in strategic projects, operational enhancements and cross-functional stakeholder management across global offices
Experience
- Approximately 15+ years of experience within hedge funds, fund administration or alternative investment operations
- Strong technical understanding of fund accounting and fund operations, coupled with proven client-facing experience
- Experience managing sophisticated hedge fund clients across multiple fund strategies, including multi-strategy, long/short and private credit
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex client situations, navigate competing priorities and operate effectively in a demanding environment
- Prior people management experience with the ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for account expansion and additional project work
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and travelling periodically for client engagements
