Sustaining Power Electronics Manager

Overview

Lead thesustaining engineering function for power supply products in production,ensuring high reliability, compliance, and cost efficiency. You will overseeengineering changes, resolve technical issues, and drive continuous product andprocess improvements across the lifecycle.

WhatYou'll Do

  • Lead and develop a team of engineers, driving priorities and execution
  • Manage engineering changes, product configuration, and documentation within PLM/ERP systems
  • Resolve field and manufacturing issues using structured root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Drive component obsolescence management, alternative sourcing, and cost optimisation
  • Support reliability improvements, validation activities, and design updates
  • Partner with manufacturing to improve yield, test strategies, and process stability
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, working with external labs when needed
  • Review schematics and PCB changes to ensure design integrity and traceability
  • Work closely with suppliers and support customer or field escalations

What We'reLooking For

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in electronics or power-related engineering, including leadership exposure
  • Strong understanding of analog/digital circuits and ability to interpret schematics and guide PCB updates
  • Experience in power electronics (AC-DC, DC-DC, SMPS, EMI) is highly desirable
  • Hands-on experience with PLM/ERP systems and engineering change control processes
  • Strong background in failure analysis, validation, and reliability improvement
  • Familiar with industry standards (IEC/UL, EMC) experience in regulated industries is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills using structured methods such as 8D, FMEA, or DOE
  • Proven ability to improve product reliability, reduce field issues, and drive cost and yield improvements
  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
