Sustainable Design & Strategy Manager
The Sustainable Design & Strategy Manager leads the development and execution of strategies that strengthen sustainability, innovation, and product design across the organisation.
The role shapes initiatives that enhance asset quality, create differentiation in the market, and support longterm value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive organisationwide strategies related to asset benchmarking, branding, sustainable building practices, and innovation, ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals.
- Guide change management efforts to secure stakeholder support and enable smooth execution of major programmes and initiatives.
- Develop design briefs for development and asset enhancement projects, integrating user needs, sustainability principles, and placemaking considerations.
- Oversee design management across multiple asset types such as office, retail, hospitality, and residential to ensure projects adhere to design intent, functional requirements, and quality standards.
- Partner closely with consultants, regulatory bodies, and external specialists to deliver projects that meet technical, regulatory, and design expectations.
- Maintain a central design repository to document design studies, proposals, and reference materials, supporting internal benchmarking and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in architecture, engineering, or a related builtenvironment discipline.
- Minimum of five years experience in a comparable capacity.
- Background or familiarity with architectural or design work is preferred.
- Able to engage, influence, and coordinate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing both highlevel planning and detailed project elements.
- Demonstrates strong analytical abilities and a solid aptitude for solving problems.
