Sustainability Manager

We are seeking a results-driven individual to manage our ESG reporting and decarbonisation efforts across our property and hospitality portfolio. You will play a pivotal role in preparing the company's annual Sustainability Report, ensuring compliance with leading frameworks such as ISSB, and supporting the development and implementation of Science Based Targets (SBTi).

Key responsibilities include ensuring that the annual sustainability report meets the ISSB (IFRS S1 & S2) and other relevant disclosure frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, GRESB). You will collaborate with consultants, business units and operations teams to gather, validate and analyse ESG as well as coordinate internal and external assurance processes to ensure audit-quality disclosures.

As one of the key team members managing the Company's roadmap for SBTi submission and implementation, you will work closely with the engineering team to develop emissions reduction strategies and net-zero pathways for our buildings and hospitality operations. This includes monitoring progress against targets and report on key climate KPIs.

Stakeholder engagement includes collaboration with finance, risk, operations and investor relations to embed sustainability into core business practices and act as an internal subject matter expert on ESG reporting, climate risk and sustainability compliance.

Aside from the above, you will support ESG materiality assessments, climate risk evaluations, and integration of sustainability into enterprise risk management (ERM), keep abreast of evolving regulatory and voluntary reporting requirements and leverage audit experience to design and implement robust controls over sustainability data and disclosures that aligns with external audit requirements that withstands regulatory scrutiny.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in audit, assurance, or ESG reporting, with a strong command of financial and non-financial disclosures. Those with strong audit background and without experience in sustainability will also be considered.
• Good knowledge and understanding of ISSB standards, SBTi, GHG Protocol, and relevant sectoral benchmarks (e.g., GRESB Real Estate), climate risk and data governance will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building and managing relationships across diverse stakeholders including stakeholders in both the built environment and hospitality operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a self-starter attitude.
• Proven project management abilities, able to multi-task and manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
