Sustainability Manager
Location: Singapore

Our client, a reputable real estate owner and operator, is seeking a Sustainability Manager to drive the development and execution of sustainability strategies across a diverse portfolio of commercial office and retail assets. This is a key role for a sustainability professional who is passionate about reducing environmental impact, enhancing operational efficiency, and shaping long-term ESG performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sustainability strategies across the client's commercial and retail asset portfolio.
  • Integrate sustainable practices into day-to-day building operations, maintenance activities, and capital projects to enhance environmental performance and asset value.
  • Ensure alignment between property-level initiatives and broader corporate ESG and net-zero objectives.
  • Lead programs focused on improving energy and water efficiency, including optimization of building systems.
  • Conduct and manage sustainability audits, retro-commissioning exercises, and the implementation of renewable energy and low-carbon technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, facilities, and operations teams to identify and deliver cost-effective sustainability improvements.
  • Oversee waste management and recycling initiatives, driving tenant engagement and vendor coordination.
  • Work with owners, asset managers, and investors to track and report sustainability performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations, reporting frameworks, and benchmarking requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • At least 68 years of experience in sustainability, energy management, or environmental performance within commercial real estate.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, ESG strategies, and building performance standards.
  • Proven ability to implement portfolio-wide sustainability initiatives and manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
