Sustainability Engineer

Role Description

*Key Roles & Responsibilities of SUSTAINABILITY ENGINEER*:

1.*Lead Green Mark / BCA compliance for DSTA, HDB* and other projects. Manage submissions, energy modeling, and documentation to achieve targeted Green Mark rating.

2.*Conduct carbon footprint assessments for projects* and corporate operations in accordance with ISO 14064-1.

3.*Propose and implement reduction measures in line with ISO 14064-1, ISO 46001, and ISO 50001 standards*. Liaise with NEA, PUB, BCA and other agencies on environmental compliance, audits, and inspections.

4.*Maintain records for regulatory submissions*. Drive environmental performance with a target of zero NEA/PUB/BCA summonses.

5.*Investigate any non-compliance* and implement corrective and preventive actions.

6.*Support integration of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001* into the company's Integrated Management System (IMS).

7.*Participate in internal, external audits and management reviews*.

8.*Develop and conduct training for PMs, CMs, WSHOs and sub-cons* on sustainability SOPs, Green Mark requirements, and environmental regulations.

9.*Monitor site sustainability metrics: energy, water, waste, and carbon.* Conduct site inspections to verify implementation of Green Mark measures and environmental controls.

10.*Report performance* to Direct Supervisor, HOD and project stakeholders. And prepare for and support Corp EHS SAP audits.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), including knowledge of best practices and compliance standards
• Health and Safety experience, including Occupational Health and Safety protocols
• Knowledge of Safety Engineering principles and ability to integrate them into projects
• Experience in designing and delivering Training programs related to safety and sustainability
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, environmental studies, or related disciplines
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus
