Job Summary

You will drive energy optimization and sustainability initiatives by applying your expertise in ACMV systems across diverse building projects. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver sustainable solutions that enhance building performance and support green building certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, operate, and optimize ACMV systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation to improve energy efficiency across projects
  • Lead sustainability initiatives by integrating energy optimization strategies into building services systems
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, calculations, and reports to support sustainability submissions and green building certifications such as Green Mark and WELL
  • Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery
  • Apply knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and green building frameworks to ensure compliance and promote sustainable design
  • Utilize engineering software tools including AutoCAD, Excel, and PowerPoint to develop and present technical solutions
  • Analyze system performance data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement proactive measures
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and decision-making
  • Work independently and collaboratively within teams to meet project goals and deadlines with attention to detail and a proactive approach

Required competencies and certifications

  • Hands-on experience in ACMV design, operation, or energy optimization (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, DX etc.)
  • Strong understanding of ACMV systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems
  • Familiarity with sustainability, energy efficiency, or green building projects
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency measures and sustainable building design
  • Proficiency in Windows and engineering tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD

Preferred qualities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
  • Able to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset for continuous improvement


Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical / Building Services / Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in ACMV, building services, or mechanical systems
  • Exposure to sustainability, energy efficiency, or green building projects is an advantage
